Started on the black one seeing that the weather has improved. Managed to open both front door's, strip the locks, refitted them all good. Standing for ,as it now turns out 6 years, doesn't help.Need a new cable interior handle to latch if anyone has one. Got the bonnet cables/locks working. Charged battery and have no fuel at the fuel rail, have to drop the tank and see if I've got power to the new pump.Relay is clicking in, inertia switch ok. Job for tomorrow

Who has been a busy boy then. Went out for breakfast, then fitted four new coils and plugs to SWMBO Renault Scenic. Misfire now gone. Keep em happy. ;);)

Might be able to help you there. Will check in the shed tomorrow. That's the one with the little L at the end that fits into the hole in the inside door handle? How long does it need to be? Might be I've only got a rear one so need to check the length.

Thanks mate but the front and rear are different. I've just been on the Bay and ordered one. Thanks again.:)

Overhauled both front door handles with STC3063 and STC3064 nice easy job. What a difference silky smooth and close to the correct position now.

I thank you. Spoke to Mozz over the weekend but we were like ships in the night, I'll give him a ring soon.:)

He rang the other day then said he had to go and would ring back. Never did. The kits are cheap enough and fairly easy to fit. Did my drivers door a few weeks ago. Been buggering about with a Mountfield petrol mower today i got given me, got it sorted couple of new cables. Thought it would cut the places the ride on won't get at, it's self propelled. Trouble is the bloody thing goes faster than i can. :D:D

Hi,yes as wammers said .3 bits in the kit and easy enough to fit. I had to break the old plastic to get to the pin,but after that its easy

Just spoken to him, having trouble with his camshaft AGAIN. Didn't someone think "why are the camshafts failing"? It's being starved of oil for fecks sake. Had to do my Mountfield today as well, float sticking and starving it of petrol. Sorted and need my running shoes.:D:D

Sadly a lot of the cams available today are Chinese crap. With cam followers made of soft cheese. Even the named brands use cheap Chinese crap. Buying one even from a reputable firm is a lottery.
