granted - a rare treat to see this on the dash. It actually wasn't that far off as Data said - couple of tenths. Filled to brim and used just over half a tank (50ish l) to cover 382 miles.

Well I have just looked at it 2day.... so far, may go to the shops, come back and do some top ups, have to go out Sunday, so checking stuff would be a good idea

Well what can I say wammers I eat my hat , just( dragged)brother in laws p38 off the road had mot just over month a go, just had swivel ball joints, and the f in MOT and the garage must of missed the drop arm ball joint. Because it just come out of its socket kin useless ****s .... Well shouting down the phone has prompted them on a free call out with a new full steering bar ( free of charge ) too bloody right ... Plus I want to know how it got through mot and this garage missed it could been killed !!!

ive stripped the heater O rings out and its all ready for reassembly tomorrow then i told it to sort its frigging head out or i will show it my displeasure .......

Changed my drivers door latch assembly. One of those jobs that might have been easier for a trained gynecologist, but I got there in the end.

Thought about changing my prop UJs, then decided it was cold so ate Bacon and drank coffee instead. By the way, I', led to believe by posts elsewhere in this forum my Rangie should have come with a Butler. This seems to be missing. Have I been done?

Butler only comes with the upmarket verions Linley etc. The rest of us are the butler

After failing miserably to get 2 joints in my brake pipes to seal, mine was today taken away to the specialist on the back of a low loader.

MY wife's nicked my RR, the bitch... I bought her a Matiz so she wouldn't have to use mine..... but I will forgive her if she fills it up!!

It was zero degrees here today, but nice in the sun. I spent the morning getting the chassis cross member off to get access to the oil pan. Bolts were seized and it was out with the penetrating oil, wire brush and blowtorch.
Bingo!

Put in another 9 litres of screen wash (the fun time of year where I'm going trough it like it was going out of fashion), put on a rad shield to keep the cool air at bay (it overcools so this time of year I struggle to get the gauge out of the blue) and cleaned out some leaves that had accumulated in the wings near the doors, got some road tax. Turns out I cannot buy road tax online. Because my insurance expires on the 29th and I need road tax for the 01/11, DVLA is all "DENIED!" Kind of a pain in the arse.

I don't think we are so much Butlers as Care Workers. Or possesions of the devil that is the P38.

Road tax for another year , I don't do that online bit old fashioned that way I like to send her indoors to post office !

Well think mine came with a butler and a footman both of whom seemed to have fxxxed off
