What LPG system is it, sequential is the way but should switch over after no more than a mile from a cold start.

One with 5 or 6 lights and a dohnut tank in the boot. It had 2 lights of lpg came on when the little button on it was pressed so i assume it was running on lpg then

it should change over automatically.. Starts on petrol, switches over at temp

I better do a little research into lpg systems then Lol.
Petrol or diesel
coils or air
not fussed
aslong as i get a decent rangie

Diesel on air or high coils again is my preferred choice

Easy enough to swap back to air if you feel so inclined, most of the gubbins is often still in place.
Personally I'd stick out for a diesel, landygirl has a tatyy one for sale in the for sale section.

If you go LPG you really want a sequential multipoint system. There will be 8 injectors somewhere around the inlet manifold. Cheaper single point systems should be avoided as they are far less efficient & can often backfire taking out your airbox, MAF etc.

Mine hasn't put a foot wrong in 3 years & 60k miles....oops

Running a LPG'd V8 will be similar running costs to a diesel unless your doing alot of short journeys.

Edited for accuracy:)

I dont think so dunno had a look at the rangie in the for sale section and its not for me

I get around 15mpg on around town on short journeys, but obviously use more petrol. 18-19mpg on a good run which makes it more than reasonable at 59p/ltr for LPG.:)

Yes, & our shippers & hauliers have recently added a diesel surcharge for the privilege. I can see a tax hike on diesel coming on;)

It is on the cards, but apparently they are hesitant to do it for the fear of the backlash, apparently there's been a 60% increase in diesel car sales in the last 10 years after the then Government sold it as the "Green" fuel and gave Road Taxation allowances for diesels.
Just a matter of time though! Got my order in with the local chippy for the chip fat!

Must say when you see recently the debates on diesel pollution everywhere you get the feeling the government are preparing the public for something.
Could only be Labour daft enough to promote diesel as 'green'.
