What did you do with your Range Rover today

Alright for some lol wet wild and windy typical scotland she did 450mile in total yesterday faultless and this today injector 4 still puts a little weap out under full load so needs doing hopefully next week and wiper stalk for washers and a window regulator and apart from being a little tatty rangies spot on

Rear shocks replaced. Fronts were done yesterday.

Boge are best, no doubt about it.
Terribly firm Terrafirma aren't far off but definitely a little harsher.
Britpart. Well, maybe they were knackered when I got the car but I won't be putting any of them on, ever!

Sorted the bullet connector for the fuel pump, loaded up most of the spare bits and drove it the 180 miles home. Relatively trouble free, it seems to want to stall when slowing down at traffic lights/junctions.

The ride is definitely better on 16". Handling compromised slightly but who races a Rangie?!
I have 16" & 18" wheels. The 16" were definately better compared to the 18" shod with Goodyear Wranglers. However, the 18" with Nexen Rodians are better than the 16" in terms of ride, handling and tramlining. Tyres it would see make a big difference on the P38, different tyres on the 16" would no doubt change the situation again.

After doing the head gaskets and valley gaskets on the classic, put new belts on, flushed the cooling system, new fresh coolant in fired it up.. it lit up first time, burnt the labels off the new cats, timed it, adjusted the throttle cable and stood back very happy, sounds great with new exhaust, new oxy sensors, top end refresh. Gave it a clean to get the dust off..

Then cleaned the two P38's so they are looking spiffing as well. I'll see if i can get some nice sun to get pictures of the three together.

Going to look at a 2 door classic on monday too !

If ever I buy tyres for it I'll try the Nexen Rodians. I probably should as I'm running out of space. I've got 2 lots of 18" wheels (winter set and summer set) and a set of 16". I guess I could flog a set of rims off at some stage!

Ah but that's an excuse to buy new tools!

I went in for a 6 point 32mm socket. Came out with the socket, a little 1/4" socket set and 2 wire-brushes!

Excuse fully utilised! As they are doing a 50% off offer on all Halfords Advanced socket sets I bought the 1/4" drive set for £25. :D
