Must be made of Platinum infused plastic.
Full led units, new landrover unit, yes you can get just the lens or a cheepo pair for less but whoever facelifted it in 2015 (its originally a December 2005)thankfully used genuine grill headlights and tail lights and bumper and brackets and front parking sensor loom ect, wouldn't feel right putting a china copy pair of rear lights on

Been reading about dpf removal.. again.. you can gut it and turn it off in the ecu but doing so will cause a ~5mpg drop.. which sounds exactly what I've got.
It also needs a tune remap.. think that's first job in the new year!! Any recommendations? Ideally Midlands/northwest

So it was my turn to get another year of car insurance for the L322.

My current provider increased it by 55%.

Called one of those advertised providers on the back of the Green Lane magazines that is supposed to specialise in 4x4. Quoted me over 2k (over 200% increase), even the operator understood the difference between the models, but said their insurers did not...

In the end went back to Admiral, they quoted me only increase of 54% compared to the current provider, but I saved overall as total increase was 26% as had two cars to insure and got the multi car discount.

Good luck when you need to hunt.

Happy Christmas!

Insurers don't care about different models of range rover, but they seem to care about differences in a fiesta or golf.
It's not right that a l322 with no keyless entry is treated the same as an l405 that's a lot more insecure

Had anyone tried 3rd party only insurance, is it even still a thing?

It is very much so a thing.

Over here, when Direct Assurance wanted to hike my P38 renewal by 35%, I dropped the cover to TPFT+ which came in at 5% over the previous years premium. The stupid thing is that the renewal for my Transit was a reasonable 6%. Range Rovers of whatever year or model have all been tarred with the keyless entry brush, thanks JLR
