What did you do with your Range Rover today

Otto's ones were Dunlop marked, can't remember which seller but I think they were around £100 each or £160 for the pair each end. Obviously we did both pairs as he sagged everywhere. Fronts were nice and easy in hindsight, just one awkward to remove clip on each.
New ones were all plastic on the ends, old ones were plastic top and aluminium base, which had corrosion welded itself to the bottom plate on the axle and corroded the pins solid.
The old dunlops also have the landrover oval moulded into the rubber, wonder if they were the originals? Car was stood sorned since around 2015 until I got it in 2021. Car is a 2001 .

What's the power steering fluid in these trucks/buses/j**ps? 🤯🤭🙄
Handbook says Texaco cold climate PSF 14315..
Is that an expensive name for ATF III? Or is it different stuff? Certainly smells like 'well used' ATF 🤔 Certainly smells like it needs a change

Finally had a look at the dpf. Looks to me that it's been gutted?. By the dealer, without asking me or telling me!!
Explains why the figures I'm reading are bogus!
Should i care? Or just be glad it'll never get full?

It's obviously been opened, but I'd love to know what they have done to stop dash lights and presumably prevent regen attempts. Also assume it means i don't need to worry about oil dilution?
I wonder if it's why cruise control accelerates very very slowly and won't maintain speed going uphill?

Not actually range rover but thought you might like a laugh. Wife's friend at work had been complaining about her brakes so wife being wife volunteered me to have a look at them.

Warning Sit down before you fall down

Told you to sit down🤣🤣🤣🤣

As you can see they were well past there sell by date

Must have been all mapped out inc egr I guess

What makes you think its linked to cc? Just curious cuz I don't know 😅

I'd be more concerned that if you've noticed its been opened up, would an mot tester?

You can't see the weld unless you use a phone like i did for the pic, it's right on top.

I'm more concerned that if might fail when tests get even more strict in a few years.
Plan on keeping it a while!
