What did you do with your Range Rover today

Drove 300 miles back home. No dramas with the vehicle, a mix of traffic and a full bladder made things slightly distracting.

However, I do think I have developed a boost leak as under WoT you can hear air gushing. Sounds like it is on the left but no visible issues and all joints are connected as they should be. :/

Today I mostly broke down on Dartmoor, clutch pedal to the floor had to drive home with no clutch but hey it all adds to the rich tapestry of life.

Swore at it!

Towed the son in laws Transit back to his home, silly bugger run out of fuel(derv). What a job to bleed it, not as straight forward as any other diesel I've ever worked on.

Replaced tailgate release button, been sticking from time to time for ages.

Ordered a service kit for it.

Woot! Finally found the battery drain culprit. Dodgy circuit board inside alarm siren.

BBS sounder with corroded battery?

Tried to finish the air con condenser fit and failed. Data say bash it and bend it with a big hammer, so that's tomorrow's plan. Bound to work, it's a Landy after all

No, I had the battery out it was the circuit board!!!

Replaced seized bleed screw in ABS booster. Hopefully new discs and pads should arrive tomorrow any I can finish the job.

Bought 8 litres of 10w/40w GTX magnetec oil for 42 quid at costco and ordered other service parts from Island 4x4. Next weekend planned!

I'm in France where oil & stuff is usually a lot dearer than the UK.

Smith & Allen are good, i get 20ltrs 10/40 semi synth (Unelite) for approx £55.00
