MOT today - sailed through and no advisories :)

(Hate it though when they rev it flat out - rev counter never sees 5,000 rpm any other time).

Eyeing up removing the towbar. I doubt I'll use it any time soon, might as well get shot. Also got a new steering damper on order, should be here soon. So I get to fit that on the weekend.

well the fuel line is finally fixed I got hold of a ribbed connector from a local garage and its pieced the two parts together like it was made like that as I cannot get a fuel line part from anywhere I have tried land rover and all the parts stores that I could find on the tinternet and no one has one and they are on back order from land rover and have been for months :( but hey ho at least its back on the road till its next fault :D

or you break something else :D:D:D

Flushed the brake system on my P38 with new fluid and bled as per RAVE.
I've always thought the brakes were a bit lacking in feel and performance, the transformation is remarkable, feels like a different car, wish I'd done it ages ago.

Replaced bottom hose (burst last week) flushed out cooling system, refilled with nice new coolant (orange OAT) greased props, but best of all finally sorted EAS. Been struggling for some time now with front left sitting half inch higher than front right, I rechecked wiring behind kick panel and whilst I was working in footwell had a look at the OBD connector. The wiring looked ok but redone a couple of connections for piece of mind , on closer inspection of OBD some of the pins were a bit green so cleaned them up with contact cleaner and toothbrush (hope her in doors don't taste it) then decided to plug in laptop just to have a look, cleared vehicle has moved fault then had a look at get heights tab, usually front left is about 8 bits higher than front right but today it read only 2 bits higher. Took car to all heights and measured and at long last they were near on the same:rofl:not sure if it was the redoing a couple of the connections or cleaning the OBD and the software communicating properly with the EAS, but, at long last I think its finally sorted:).

^^^ Well done!! :) sounds like you've been struggling with this one for a while, glad you've finally got it sorted.....

Keep us posted if it changes again!!

Refurbished the air compressor and refitted. Ordered another calliper for the passenger side as the motor factor sent me a driver side one.... Again! Removed calliper from passenger side, which is a driver side one, and bled the air from the system. Have to wait till Monday for the All Comms and new calliper to arrive.

Missed the postie so my plans of fitting the new steering damper are out of the window as he has it.
