What did you do with your Range Rover today

Got it upto unit, front propshaft off lazy style unbolt one end and cut it in half pulled off the failed splines,
Diff input bolt staked and marked then old spline style flange removed ready for later style prop flange but thats stuck in the post till tomorrow :(
Yes i know my chances doing it this way rather then a diff swap but im not able enough with my ribs and head injurys atm,

And for anyone that read my thread asking which end failed its the diff flange too propshaft part that failed
Propshaft splines look ok,

I reckon most of the really vulnerable had been hit by the end of Delta, we have to see what the next mutation is in terms of severity.

So far it doesn't seem to be any worse, it is just waning immunity or maybe a little bit better at evading immunity than previous mutations.

Like the Flu, there is no immunity to each new mutation and the vaccine is a waste of time judging by the number of people I know that have had Covid multiple times, the latest even aver a 4th jab. The vaccine may have been effective against the early versions, but like the Flu it would seem that it's variant specific.

To some extent, yes. That's kind of the end game: people will continually get infected but by prior infection the difference won't be that much and it will be just like a bad cold.

One of my colleagues tested positive this morning and we spent all day together last Friday!

I just had one very bad night when I had it, with breathing I just couldn't take any air in, it's frighting, it was like that the whole night I couldn't sleep not that I would want to it was a scary night
 
Diff flange picked up this morning, will get on with it after supper,
Took me longer too tow it 4 miles too workshop then it did too take it apart, can't wait too be mobile in my own motor again, i have had a 2003 s class too run about in and iv been offered it at a decent price so might have too treat myself

That the one where the rear half corrodes and drops off just after all the electrics fail?!
 
New diff flange on, retightend too the stake marks as iv swapped flanges on bmw diffs before iv learned you can only tighten to what it was go any tighter then loosen off your screwed,
All done and driving in under 15mins,
Its got rid of my usual clonk engaging a gear
Really happy even if it does fail in future and isnt a long term fix and i have too swap the front diff anyway
