What did you do with your Range Rover today

I hate to say this but the only option is to let them drown. Until they realise that's the most likely ending they will keep trying and will continue to be exploited by organised crime. It doesn't help with the British government pretending the streets are paved with gold and everyone has tea each weekend with the queen in an effort to draw foreign workers.
I miss those times GRRRRRRR.

Picked up the new hood on Friday. Really nice chaps from a land rover club, sadly to far away from where I live. They are having a sale to get rid of all the RRC parts they have in stock after the last memeber sold his car. Picked up a dash, a couple of front and rear lights along the rims. More purchases were blocked by budget.

Like the"parking brake"brick, but I'm not sure about the non standard rear view mirrors.;):D

I noticed the black dot that means ‘LR parking only’ (unless you want the blame).

Shaft done and on, no bumps, bruises aches or pains? Went smooth? Running betterer but I’ve not got it up to speed yet just little run get the grease flowing.
Diff Oil checked all full but back is a little grey. Transfer box weeps but I changed it few years ago and little drop of cherry red came out the filler plug
A good day for me :)

Starter motor swapped for the one in the scrapper; started first time so result. Even better, I had a knackered starter in the shed and feom 2 dead starters managed to make 1 good one and put that back on the scrapper which now also starts and drives.

On a slightly less positive note I found where my coolant went - on the transmission tunnel carpet. So, either heater o-rings are shot (I've never done them) or the heater matrix is shot. Unfortunately, I have other jobs that have to be done before dark so it will have to wait for another weekend.

Good luck with that then...IMG_20181209_152443.jpg
