What did you do with your Range Rover today

How did you test them?

Never thought to test mine. I always meant to do Datatek's mod as a backup to the viscous but not got around to it.

The one is seized solid, the other makes a nice crunch sound when rotated!

I daren't apply power to them! ;)

I guess you could apply 12v to the terminals and see what happens! ;)

They should come on when the A/C is turned on, they have 2 fan modes, Slow/Fast for the A/C they usually run on low to assist in condenser cooling, but can go to high, the temp depending.

And post 1998 they come on full pelt if the engine temp exceeds 105c :)

G'day folks. The engine seemed to me be running a bit weird, especially when in 1st/2nd. So I connected Hawkeye and on the live data section it is saying there isn't a misfire but the engine is running rough on all 8 cylinders.
I read the fault codes;
P0155
P0135
P0134
P1590 which must have something to do with the ABS and TC being lit all the time Fault 108 which then says continuous power supply interruption, minimum value, value exceeded, but then says Fault NOT(I don't know why it has to shout that bit but it did) Present and Intermittent.
Then Fault 35, P0174.

I'm not at home atthe moment to dig around and see what's going on. Orto see RAVE for ways to fix these things.

When you say running rough on all 8 but no detected misfire, what do you mean? In a perfectly healthy engine you won't see 100% success all the time. If one cylinder has consistently higher rough running values then it's likely a duff lead or plug

I just read off what it said on Hawkeye. No idea what it means. What is happening though, is it is like it's bogging down when accelerating in 1st and 2nd. My initial worry was the engine but now I'm worried if it's the gearbox. Right now I have no ability or time to sort it so it'll just have to wait. So all I am doing at the moment is look through rave etc. and see what is going on with regards to the codes.
