What did you do with your Range Rover today

Got the Golden Girl back from local garage. Brakes are fine. As is usual, it seems lack of use is causi g the calipers to stick slightly. Suggestion is new calipers. So that will be done , soonly. Waiting on, friendly, truck mechanic to get back to me about sorting EAS hard fault. The day of my own diagnostics looms closer.
The windscreen wiper, broken by Autowindscreens, has also been replaced.
What did I do , on a day to day basis, when I drove Volvos, or any other marque than Green Oval ?

Crossplane V8s RULE

Is the idle air valve supposed to be fully shut when it's unplugged? I don't have idle issues but not sure it's working properly

Keep the callipers and overhaul them yourself ready for when they need doing again. When there is no rush it is a very satisfying job to do a brake overhaul. And not pricy usually to do yourself.

Red rubber grease for assembly, minimal amount of brake fluid on everything when assembling and then bolt in with a blind instead of banjo bolt for the fluid inlet to keep everything damp / lubed, then store in a ziplock bag to keep if fresh until needed.

the ecu adjusts it when the engine is on.

Yes it does but I'm wondering if the spring is broked. . I'm sure it used to shut fully when I've taken it off before. Now the internals just seen to flap about

In the fridge or at room temperature?? bag of silica to absorb any damp will help.

Have you looked out of the window this morning? There's always moisture in the air.my gun cabinet is full of those little sachets.

i know what you're saying and i wouldnt turn it down but if i was offered a choice, it would be a v8 every time...

Very nice but the Ferrari can go round a corner at speed without trying to kill you

don't care i'd be happy to just pootle and appreciate the burble
i'd need a wheelchair though as my knees would be too jelly to carry me

The Ferrari was so easy to get in and out of and unbelievably comfortable. Was nice to burble slowly through the little town but on the country roads wow
Oh what flavour jelly did you have in mind?

I had to laugh when my mate called to see me in his son in laws Lamborghini (we'd be out of the Euros if it wasn't for him) he showed me the start button under a flap, started the engine,gave it a rev as he said goodbye and went..... nowhere, he'd forgotten to put it in gear.
