Made it to my destination!! Seemed to struggle pulling though! Only 750kg trailer! Pedal to the metal to get up some undulations in the road and keep the speed up

You caught me out Stan,

However she isn't my type 50+ and short and only has 3 teeth, her husband is a right peace of work too giving me a bollocking he's my height but about 20st heavier
I think I could take him but his go to fighting move is probably to try and suffocate his opponent, TBF just by falling on them..

Fat ****..
Sorry!
Her husband giving YOU a bollocking cos his daft tw@t of a wife ran into YOUR stationary parked car with no one in it?
Am I reading this right?

Mind you, two kids, last day of term, brought eggs to school, couldn't decide what to do with them and in the end chucked a couple on the bonnet of my Marlin. They didn't even know who it belonged to. Their parents came to view the damage after a paint guy tried and failed to buff it out. I got the quote to have it taken back to the bare ally and resprayed. One parent said feck all the other started trying to have a go at me!
He basically couldn't believe the damage eggs can do too paintwork. (it had been allowed to sit on it in the sun.)
The deputy head standing by couldn't believe I didn't lump him one.
But after it got done and they both paid up, he did at least include a bit more and said to have a drink on him.
Fecking kids , eh?
And the bonnet still hasn't been the same since.:mad::mad:

Yep he gave me a talking to, I gave as good as I got though, he seemed to have forgotten the CCTV in the carpark LOL and I reminded him..
To be fair I was close to flogging him, but it isn't worth the hassle and it does depend on who throws the first punch! ;)

Made it home.. everyone in one piece!! Dash said 19mpg over the day, there and back so that's not so bad. Seemed to run loads better on the way home!
Stop the range rover fear kermy!!
Just take it all in and assess the results with all the calm and collectively of a real range rover owner.

Or panic every key turn:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::p

Finally got round to finishing bolting up the body/chassis bushes.
Flushed with success I adjusted the bonnet as the shut line (yeah that's a giggle innit) was greater on one side than the other, that's just nice, try to open the bonnet and of course it's feckin jammed.:mad::mad::mad:
Just about had enough room through the grill to get a couple of turns on the bolts holding the catch and pop the bugger, bit of adjustment and everything is right with the world. Fully tighten the catch bolts and the clip holding the bonnet stay falls off :mad::mad::mad:
Out with the drill and the riveter, all now good. Range Rovers hey, you gotta love them.

Finally fixed the cruise control today to give me something else to think about, then went for a blast to see how much fuel i could burn!! Still getting occasional light tapping at idle :( i didn't check the lifters spun freely when i rebuilt :( i get the idea i should have.

Consensus seems to be to sand the bottom of the offending lifter with 320grit just enough to give the cam something to grab hold of and try again... Or go for a blast down the motorway in 3rd with fingers crossed..

Used and used and used it. Towed heavy stuff used it for works usual stuff. Done about 1800 miles on refurbished injectors
Acquired 2 sets of 22s
Tried a set on for a few days fail to see the fuss about such big wheels.
Sold them both as I have my mind set on 20s rrs wheels I think I want I have seen a set of 20in stormers locally I like.
Wife reversed her car into it (no visable damage on either thankfully)

Dropped my spare bonnet and upper and lower tailages into paint shop so I might might actually fit them this year

I picked up a couple of bits so I have more work to do

I will have to find some thing to fill the satnav hole, there is a genuine part but it's not cheap
