Went to the shops.. drivers side heated screen didn't work again. Obviously doesn't like the damp.
Hevac acting up too, blend motors work and calibrated but while nanocom says no errors and flaps at 100% I'm only getting 'rather warm' as opposed to burning hot!!

Got an extension lead that goes all the way down the garden. Put battery on charge for hour while I cleaned the gunk out of the scuttle, most degrading job, and topped up the fluids (not GB:oops:). She lit up just enough to power the dash and think she was getting stolen
(bless, as if anyone else would want her )
then died. Gonna leave it charge try again later. All I want is to turn it over to warm up and run the compressor pump the tires up, is that asking too much for a Sunday!:mad:

Tracked my replacement compressor parts and now in Moscow so all things being good hope to have the beast back on the road by Friday. However just went out today and ran he beast for 15 mins to keep the battery good and especially in the cold weather we are having at the moment. Although minus temps out there it soon got nice and warm inside and the temp needle sat right where it should and the HVAC worked fine and no book symbol. The V8 just sounded so good and smooth.

Put a thin wire in position 85 relay 4 and push the relay back in attach test lamp and see if you have power .Remember the engine is best running and the screen button on.The ignition energises relay 15 which provides an earth to relay 5 which powers the n/s screen and provides power to activate relay 4 for the o/s of the screen. If you have power at the test lamp the lift the fuse box and check the continuity of the purple light green wire in the violet plug.if you lift the fuse box put a mat under it so the BECM live wires don't earth on the [email protected] check my edits

Hmm a 15min run might not be enough to charge the battery, especially with the current pulled from it to start the old beast ;)
