What can i run off Optima yellow top sc34da

Got an optima yellow top leisure battery on a split charge. Other battery is a Optima red top. Want to run my winch of it can it be done? Because me mate swears that you can run a winch off a leisure battery.

i all ways thought the leisure batteries discharged at a slower rate there for lasted longer for things in caravans ect. i wouldnt think a leisure battery would really be a good choice for a winch which uses a lot of power when its having to work.

This has 660 CCA and has more power in the first 10 seconds. I can always connect it to the red top but its trashed two of those already and as the main battery that ain't too clever. Its mostly because it has 3amps of draw even when switched off and its been running the spare battery flat and it now goes flat overnight and when fully charged only has enough power for 6 seconds of winching.

get yourself a good lorry battery, thats all i could suggest as i have only ever had one leisure battery and used that in the caravan for tvs,fridge ect. cant really say any more than i have already. sorry.
