2000 X plate 2.5 DHSE auto 150000 miles, it all works less the drivers heated seat and the aircon needs pumping up which will be done. Loads of svce history and bills. I am the 3rd owner fm new. Rimmer PowerBox fitted so better torque and fuel consumption 28 - 32 depending. 12 mths MOT long tax. You lot know the score inside out.

I do not want to sell this as I love it to bits and it is one of the few nice things I own but petrol prices, my wifes car, university fees, daughters horses and the chuffing Govt and financial environment are all conspiring against me.

Is £5500.00 silly? ONO of course. Then I will get some boring small diesel hatchback and curse it every time I get in it.:mad::doh:
 
Thanks, mucker. If I had my own oil well then I might but the world economy will not support me. Have you heard of such things on the Moor or does the real world pass you by?

i'll sort this out, here's how:

don't sell it, use veg oil, make the wife convert to veg oil/lpg/walk (*delete as appropriate), can't the daughter get a job, can't the daughter lose a horse or two* theres plenty of demand for dog food and sand paper, the gov't are cnuts and will always do this, stop bieng paranoid!!

Thanks for this. I may take the other option and get the wife/daughter combo to work harder so that I can afford the lifestyle I have become accustomed to! And run it on chip fate. Actually I tried over the winter and it seized up after 30 miles so changed the filter and all good. I have tried again this summer and so fare so good at 89.9 a liter fm the guy at Ratfyn Farm near Bulford. Eat more chips, I say!

just do it 50/50 with diesel for the winter!!!:doh:

and if you can obtain used oil and manufacture the small qty you need yourself then you can get it down to 25-40p a litre!

As you're at almost dealer prices, what kind of warranty or consumer protection are you planning to offer?
Me - I'd go for this one instead.
