Also, not forgetting that by the time OPs vehicle is eligible under the current regs, we may well have a Labour Government, who are uusually less sympathetic to the motoring lobby.

Is in UK law so not budget renewal.

You'll tie your brain in knots if you try & read the legislation so might be best to stick with the short gov.uk version I linked earlier!

Good call, I missed that. That is usefull as you say, its now written in. Sadly I'm an avid reader of regs but clearly not this one!
