hi,

me and a mate are prepping a series 3 for off roading, but one thing i have always been bad at is working out how big a tyre i can fit on a rim without ruining full streering abillity, or minimising axel articulation so much so that i cant get over a speed bump.

i have 265/75/16 BF goodrich AT's on my 90, but i need big time tread agression for off roading. could i fit 265 mud terrains on it?? I was thinking about ex-mod tyres??

if anyone can answer the questions i would be gratefull.

thanks guys

max

yeah but, no but, yeah but - if yo Doris damages the tv - theres a good likely hood she aint gonna be in a fit state to keep yo from getting bored untill the tv is fixed - dubble wammy :(

i'll tell her to wear her trainers whenever she waters it, and to keep her left hand in her pocket

i can get anuffer TV from Tesco with me club card points, i'd have to save up fer ages to get a new doris

have a go searching for tyre threads as there are millions...

from my own experience i've found that width wise 265's stick out too far from under the wings and they rubbed on the leaves as well. 235 75 r16's are a good size and havent caused me any grief yet! but i never got stuck with the regular landy size 205 65 r16's hankook muds either. :D

cheers for the quick reply,

if you are confident in that size mate i have no objection in giving that size a go! i will try and pick up some second hand ones somewhere, afterall, it will be hitting the hills soon. but be it on your head shuld i get stuck!!:D

im either very lonely or weird. prepping land rovers and im not even 18 till 3 weeks time!!

cheers for the help
