its called the dvla licensing section.

yeah that only tells you if it taxed, not where it is if its still running if it is in good condition,or even if it is for sale

who wud tax it if it wasnt running?

or it might still be running but not road legal

First thing you can do is go here (ASKMID) and check to see if it's on the motor insurers database.

Next is DVLA licencing to see if its taxed.... if its insured and taxed, she's on the road.

Unfortunately 'Spotted' or 'Why is my' forums rarely work... I'm an admin over a MINI owners forum, and we set one up, but it's very stagnant. Mainly because you're relying on the new owner of your pride and joy being a member on here. Next you're relying on them actually finding your thread, and finally you're relying on them actually taking the time to reply.

Landys might be different though I guess

it mite be the basis of a tax exempt series.
