Wet Seat - Wet Bum!

Hi - Can anyone assist new member? Have a 2003 TD4 and the drivers seat gets wet. The headlining close to the door and the a post gets wet. I saw water dripping from the sunroof so refitted the seal visible when roof open. This seams to have stopped water dripping however the headlining still gets wet as described?

Time tae change it for a Defender me thinks Btw welcome tae the mad hoose

Suppose ye could try incontinence pants or a waterproof seat cover

er go into search earthling . . . .this has bin documinted afore. . . .un dunt take no notice er thim thar nasty tratter boys. . . .they all have wet seats anyhows, mainly cos they all **** themselfs when the porky pig squeels in the back. . . . .

Thanks gmp. Have checked all mechanisn etc no rust signs and "touch wood" no operating problems. Have read loads of threads but can only find ones that refer to sunroof leaks ( in a big way!) re Disco. They all mention drain holes. Reluctant to remove headlining as they so often never go back the same, but seems this is the only way to check. Cheers

When I had problems with the golfs sunroof I cleaned out the drain tubes with a length of Netcurtain wire. not sure if that'll work in your case but it's got to be worth a try.

ER. . .INT IT SUMMIT TA DO WIFF THE ROOF BARS [water ingress from bolts] bolts taken out and sealant applyed. . . .seems ta ring a bell

mings right check seals on roof bars --remove bolts and squidge some silicone sealer round the threads, I got wet in a car wash!!!
