Westbury, Wiltshire to Bedale, N York's

Hi, Got a defender exhaust system off ebay and am having trouble finding a carrier to deliver it for a reasonable price.
Any suggestions for a cheap'ish carrier of large items would be welcome if no one is traveling 'up country'.

If seller gets stroppy about holding it for any time I'll keep it in my garage for you if you like. Unfortunately I'm not due to go north for a couple of months now, even then its Wigan!

Thanks for the offer, he seems OK so far, it was listed as 'collect only' but he agreed to pack it if I arranged collection though he hasn't come up with a definite size yet for me to get a proper carriage quote .

Hello mate, I can get it upto Stourport-On-Severn next weekend if needed. Can anyone move it from there.....

I don't know what is going on at the moment, he was supposed to be getting me parcel sizes so I could arrange carriage but I haven't heard anything from him for about a week.

If you're stuck and can get someone to hold it in Stourport I'll be passing up the M5/M42 way on 7th Feb so could probably get it to Northallerton for you.

sdkfz251, it is blue though don't know if you would call it nice, it is a pile of bits filling up 2 sheds at the moment.

Bodgit, I may be able to get it from stourport. I'm going up to scotland mid-feb. My missus' mum lives in Cleobury Mortimer which we'll probably have to stop in at first anyway. I could maybe pick it up, head on up the M6, cut across the M62, go up the A1, drop exhorst off than just cut across the A66 to the M6 again at Scotch Corner. Not til mid-feb tho

Shame. I'm driving from Dorset to Scotland tomorrow and could've strapped it to my roof. Ho well...
