decided i dont like the large bonnet scoop..so..now to weld up holes, weld in plate a make narrow scoop...oh well...

I thought it was odd when you first had a huge bonnet lump. But I guess it was hiding the old intake from the turbo on the 6.2...

Shame the supercharger comes up so high. Would have been nice in a way for it to be stealth!

yes it was hiding the turbo scoop thingy...

its now this...and not bloody easy to do either!!what welding in 12 by 12 steel, welding up holes and stopping it all warping!!








THING is,..my lovely mrs has had an idea..as if i wernt confused on final.(NUMBER bloody 4!! paint job!!)
and that is red strip with black sides..red strip running in bonnet recess and across body...
it would really match interior which is black with red pin striping//AND be affordable and larey..i want to go candy cherry red all over but materials alone are over £700...
so i thinks nrs idea is tops...cheap to do and bloodt larey...black against say ford race red lots of laquar and a good polish...

but not matt paint and having black wheels...red strip will be wider . ie width of bonnet reces

or black sides with wide red stripe..red will be ford racing red or similar..

above two will be laquered ..read shinnnnnney..and sooo much chearper..

red sides black centre...with candy red over the lot then laqered...so when sun hits it shimmers red all over....

red outer, black centre to recess but keep red across front.

we thinks....black base coat stripe...(bonnet recess across car) ..rest bright bright red..
then over top cherry red candy..then laqered..

that should look the dogs bits plus not be that expensive..

i see..yes like that...but what about the tailgate...stripe is to go full length of car, needs to be similar at rear...??

not overly concerned but son reckons they'll beat italy.

now thinks...(time is a concern..ie.. only have works workshop for 1 1/2 days...ie sat pm and sunday..

all black..maybe mettalic or metalflake (but proberly metalic black) with candy red over top..seen pics..looks a1, but no masking up of strips and concequently save mucho time..ie no waiting for paint to dry..
