I`ve gone and bought a series landrover, it`s a 11a with lots of 111 bits 88 and 2 1/4 petrol, I used to work on these when they were new (ish) so not too many surprises. Reason for buying - my previous motor was an ex police Volvo T5, stupidly fast, no good at all in the snow and loaded with computers
I could not live with something that I can`t repair, hence the landy which I can. Got lots to do :- fit the rag top properly to slow the gale in the cab, sort out gear box scream, adjust throttle pedal so that right leg doesn`t go into spasm and sort brakes and steering
Joined this forum as you seem to have a sense of humour. life can be too serious!
