Weird one.......

I just noticed as I backed onto the drive way, every time I press the foot break I here a click, like a relay, or a knock under the car about where the handbrake leaver is.

I can also feel the knock though the handbrake lever.

I'm thinking that a brake pipe is loose underneath. Do hippos have a balancer for the rear drums?

Any other ideas?

if u sit there and put ur foot on and off the brake pedal do u feel a clcik via the gearstick as ive fot the same, there is a relay of some sort that will cllick when i park etc that will clcik

dont know what the reply does but has been like that for nearly 6 months but cant identify the part, cost or number

mabe someone will know whatits for

It's an auto yes? Don't worry it's the gear lever inhibitor solenoid, it's supposed to click.

Mine only clicks in Park. If there is a click at any other time then you might have something else wrong? How do you make it click?

Press the brake pedal.

It was dark last night, as the pedal is depressed, the brake lights come on, then a bit more and click from the centre of the car.

If the lever is in Park and you hear the click as the brake pedal is pushed its normal.

Just to confirm, it does only happen in park, so it is normal
