Hummmm... scaremongering weather stories, do I bail today and drive 50 miles to
'save' my caravans awning, while it is gorgeous and do it all by myself.
or do I trust the MET that says winds should top out at 40mph or so.
My marital harmony depends on such careful considerations.

I probably could have slid this by the MOT, but I knew it was there, and hell, I am here anyway.
Nothing teaches like experience
Speaking of experience, you can probably live without doing the rear door by your lonesome, but if you can't

The back door, one of three doors that work properly, no longer opens from the inside or outside. Must have jiggled a bit to the left and whatever... good thing I already took the card off
looking for the connectors.

I would have lay the rear door on yer ladder rung lol

Last chance to notice if I screwed anything up before I nail it in.
If it looks good in the morning, I burn it in.
It will be nice to close it up and move on to the o/s sill.
and finally this chapter in it's life will be done.

of four captive nuts I set,

I screw up the one on the easy one and have to untack it to replace it. OTOH it certainally was the easiest to fix.

Getting there......

I just been out blazing up some 4mm angle with the stick welder and repairing a safety rail support upright for work in the morning, stuck the earth and stinger in the wrong sockets by mistake and now I am very confused as to why they even denote them as electrode and earth as it welded exactly the same with those 2.5mm rods

When you booked it in for the MOT?

There are various applications when polarity matters.
Alloy for one, the flux core I am burning as well.
But generally it makes no difference with a stick,
in my experience. If the job specifys, well I do as told:confused:
I will book it in for next week I think.
Spoke to the guy inspecting it a few weeks ago.
