My 1982 SWB Series is having a birthday! I have a new 1:9 head converted to unleaded to go on and attached to this is a Weber 32/34 carb. An extensive web search has covered most aspects but I'm still unsure about the fuel return line. Do I need to braze a return connection to the fuel tank or is there another option!
Thanks Fellahs!

I think there might be a later sender unit with an integral fuel feed that might fit the swb tank giving a second access to the tank. Or how about a t-piece in the fuel filler return pipe? Or just blank it off and see if there's a problem with the float bowl flooding.

i ran the 32-34 dmtl on a swb in the early 90's.
although aware of the spill return, never used it. if i remember correctly,
i think it was just blanked off.
would the diesel sender unit work, with 2 pipe connections on it? cant quite remember if its the same on the swb.
