Coil sitting on nearside inner wing always seems to cop it when in water. anybody moved coil? if so where to? any others waterproofing tips

thanks

Paul

Blather it with white spray grease and if king lead is good, turn the coil upside down - then blather it in white grease!

I got a rubber sleeve that fits over the coil from an autojumble.

It works a treat, no more embarrassing spluttering whilst the people who were stood alongside the ford catch up!!!.

Wrap in black bin bags, or better still airtight sealable sandwich boxes and cut a hole in the side with a stanley knife for wires to run through and clear silicone to seal the hole with the wires in - that what people do with the LPG electrics on discos and it works brilliantly if done properly.
