hello gents;
I have noticed today a damp carpet on the driver's side LHD, not under the dash but more likely near the seat area,it is NOt coolant,water is infiltrating from some place but what confuses me is that,for sure it isn't from the windscreen nor the filters housing on the bulkhead.
i was wondering about the sunroof drainage pipes,if something is loose will it drain the water on the floor matin front of the seat?
thank you gents,wanna know before starting to rip the carpet down and mess the entire console.
cheers

does it rain in LEBANON?I agree with datatec[did you get my pm by the way].raise car slide underneath,feel abound the body behind top of bellhousing for rubber outlets.squeeze these and they will open and you should get water running down your arm.if you do problem solved if you dont god knows.

Thought the sunroof drain pipes ran into the front wings behind the wheel arches? Or are these for something else?

Correct, I can see the ends of mine with the doors open. I get wet drivers side after rain. I've replaced and sealed filters. I can see water run down the kick panel next to accelerator pedal in very heavy rain. I think it's the windscreen seal at the top, but I've tried spraying the screen with water+red food dye, still not found the leak point. :(

thanks gents;
just want to say,the water from aircon is draining under the car,so guess that is solved unless i am mistaken,i opened the sunroof and poured water into the draining pipe and it came out between the door and fender,so not blocked,what is left to do?

Mine was leaking from the top windscreen seal, in heavy rain you could see it running down the inside of the screen. Took the upper finisher off and put a good bead of silicone across the top, no more leak.

There are two sunroof drains, make sure you check both sides.

ok gents guess the problem is fixed;
went under the car to check the a/c drains,one was barely evacuating water,the other one had a screw in it and was closed (dunno y just don't ask PO ignorance).
thanks for ur help cheers
