Now I do love Bessie, I do. :)

I hope to nurture her for another 37 years if I can. At which point I'll be 82. :p

However, I can't help but feel that she's taking the ****. Well actually let me add to that statement; I can't help but feel that she's taking A ****...on me...each time it rains, runs through a car wash or anything like that.

Even if the window's are shut, the vents closed; a deluge of water travels downward to around about the accelerator pedal area, onto my foot, and into my boot.

She finds it very funny. And so do I if I have time to go home and change.

The window and vent SEEM fine, with no obvious streak marks, or holes etc.

Any ideas?

It's a Land Rover. Bessie obviously loves you as she isn't depositing the water down your neck!

pmsl, Bessie sounds just like our Pig, except i do know where the water is coming in:p between the roof and windscreen and under the windscreen at the very corners. one day we'll get round to sorting it

I have the same problem with my SIII lightweight.
I took a good look during a thunder storm and found
where this leak comes from. The channel that diverts
the rain off the bonnet drops said rain into the upright
that allows the windscreen to pivot open. This then
pushes the water into the top of the bulkhead and
onto my pants. It is my daily drive and when it rains
I look a right twit coming into work. Lots of laughs
at my expense. I also have a hole in the tilt and it
just happens to dposit drops of lovely cold rain down
my neck.
How is that for love?
now the big Q, how to fix it? I tried to tighten the windscreen
down onto the rubber seal but this is not helping.

I see...

I did think about running clear sealer round everything, including my shoes...but reckon this could be just stupid.

I did wonder if it's running in from the engine/wing/bulkhead and down the hole for the brake pedal.

Will invest in a small watering can, and see if it leaks when I pour the water over certain bits. If that doesn't work, I'll keep watering it, and see if it grows into a 109, which if I'm being honest, I'd really love.
