during my shianagans with the engine replacement(see engine out thread) i had a brainwave to put a bleed screw on the pipework to the lpg vapouriser. its basically a bodge that works but i will be upgrading it to a more permanent solution that looks like it should be there.
the one i cabbaged was from a transit van, it had a kind of y piece metal section that i used and some pipes with t's built in. the vent bit is on the top section of the pipe that goes to the vap.
when i filled it yesterday i used this bleed and it worked perfect, all the air came out, its higher than the one on top of the rad and if i can find someone to make custom pipes cheap enough it may well be worth the effort!
for those who dont need the lpg side of things i remember having a ford that had a bleed on the top hose, maybe anyone with an oldish ford circa '99 could compare the hoses. it could quite well make the difference between overheating and having a fully bled system!!
any thorts, let me know!!!
