water loss

hi i am looseing water from my 300tdi cant see any signs of a leak and my oil is clean coolent is a green colour i am lost as to were it is going a friend says it could be my head gasket how do i check this ?? as i am new land rover owner can anyone help i am in the liverpool area and could do with some advice

:focus:If your oil is clean and the coolent is a clean green, you might simply have a leak somwhere in the cooling system. If you know a friendly garage, they should be able to do a system pressure check for you in exchange for a couple of beer tokens.

Not every water loss means a blown head!

It could be peeing out of the heater matrix into your footwells and being soaked up by your under carpet stuff...

worth a look while the weathers nice and you can get it dry...

thanks to all for your advice i took her into work and the fitter kindley took a look at her for me informing me i had a small split in one of my rad hoses much to my relief
