Hi,

Well i've had 1 year without any faults and then 3 come at once.
EAS, Blend motors + water loss:D

The sus should be fixed shortly, new bags alround. The blend motors need replacing, any tips or advice before doing this? never taken the RR to pieces yet? I've had a look at the guide on RR.net and looks straight forward, just need to give up a weekend.

Now the main fault, it's losing about 1inch in the header tank per 100 miles, the footwells are dry. the tophose is firm but squashable but i cannot quite crush it after the engines been on for 5/10 minutes.

The return pipe into the expansion take flows at a constant rate as well. Are there an other thing to check, i cannot see much but engines are not my thing so i couldn't tell what to look fo if any pipes were cracked etc..

It might just be my imagination but it seems worse in winter (waterloss) and when on gas the choke pores alot of steam out the back, and when hot it virtually stopped but it's still comming out.

As this is my first p38 i dont have anything to compare it to!

Any advice / pointers?

Thanks.

PS
The expansion cap has been replaced

possibly a crap lpg conversion, seen several that the pipes were either poorly routed or badly plumbed in,
failing that thermostat housing leaks regularly
