Hi, My 2005 Freelander (5 door) has a leak somewhere around the rear door. After prolonged rainfall the rear well in the boot is soaking. Has anyone replaced the rear seals? If so, do you know what the part numbers are? How many seals would need changing? I have stripped the rear down to the chasis so that I am ready to start! Are there any seals on the actual rear door that need changing?
Any advice from anyone on this would be really appreciated. Thanks.:(

My 2005 model also had this leak, I traced the leak to the hinge side door seal and repositioned it to sit slightly further out and its been fine since.

There's a modified door seal for your year Freelander, mine was supplied and fitted FOC when I bought the car a few months ago, the cost of the seal was about £125. The top seal, which the rear window closes onto, can also leak, the dealer changed the one on my car first but this didn't cure the problem.
