Rained heavy here yesterday. First time since i got the RR. Anyway off I trundle down to the shops. Everything was going great until I stopped the RR. A few drops of water landed on my hands. Upon closer inspection the headlining around the driver's sunvisor (especially where the 3 mounting screws) are located was wet. This wetness spread across to the front pillar (driver's side). Any idea's as to how it's getting into the vehicle as I looked on the roof & seems to be no holes anywhere. Thanks guys :(

Cheers Beast,
Aerial is located in the rear side windows so not that. Gutter looked ok but will have a closer look. Thanks mate.

im in the exactly the same situation as you! been trying to find where its coming from but with no luck have tried everything, think its gonna be a job of either removing the headlining and poring some water on the roof and seeing wheres its coming in from or my last guess is maybe the rubber door seals are shot. if you find out where your coming in from keep me posted as its doing my head in the last few days!!!!

If your rangie has a sunroof one of the drainage tubes might be blocked or knackered. It releases the water out by your door pillar check that first to see if water is still there and release it,then check within sunroof frame when its open to see if this is your problem. If you haven't got it download RAVE it shows all release areas and much more.

Also check the top of your windscreen for possible leakage areas.

I'd check all these places first before resorting to removing head-lining.

Hope this helps and best of luck

just cured mine in exactly the same spot, water was coming in where the plastic strip/roofrack rail meets the top of the windscreen,i removed the plastic strip and the windscreen weather strip and packed in some dum dum,all dry now

Turns out as above the windscreen is leaking water at that spot. Seeing as it has a couple of chips etc in it, it's being replaced by a new one tomorrow. Same company as what replaced it the last time. Told them there'd better be no leaks when i get it back.

Make sure the heated part works (if it's a heated screen). Seems to be quite hard to get one that actually works from what I've heard...
