My td5 is letting water in somewhere at the front, I have blown through the Air con tubes underneath and they are clear.

The windscreen rubber surround is it just for looks and the screen is glued in ?

To take off the plastic front pillar surrounds that go from the roof down to the bonnet each side, they seem to be held on by plastic type rivets, to take these plastic covers off do you just drill them out and then replace with self tappers ?

On each corner at the bottom of these are rubber sealant fillets has anyone had water ingress through/around any of these ?

As the water ingress seems to get into the footwells either side.

It will be either the sun roof or the screen. Although the screen is bonded, it is subject to a fair degree of stress, and the bonding can go. Only solution I know is to refit the screen or to tape round it with that unsightly alu tape. You might be able to solve it with mastic, but that could complicate any replacement. Not as bad as the Rover SD1 (first ever bonded screen) - be grateful!

Not the sunroofs as this one unlike my last td5 doesn't have any, so I guess the windscreen has got to come out .....thanks

Sorry for going a bit off-topic, but does anyone know where they sell alpine window seals for a Disco 1? Preferably an online store, not ebay...
