My 2001 discovery 2 got quite a bit of water in the boot last week after the heavy rain. I'm guessing it is the sunroof/s leaking. puddeling in the rear drivers side of the boot and very wet rooflining above. Als a wet drivers seat belt??

Do they have drain pipes and if so how do you clear them please? Front and rear.

There are drain pipes one either side at the front of each sunroof, so how come they are blocked, have u been leaving the sunroof open while the leaves are falling? Air pressure will clear any blocked pipe within reason.

I have no idea how they might have become blocked discool. I've had the car three years and never had a sunroof leak before. Sunroofes never left open and car parcked in the open no big dumps of leaves.

If I use an air line to blow them through am I risking blowing the rubber tube off?

Then if the sunroof is kept close then nothing can get into the drain pipe as the entrance to the pipe is inboard of the glass seal.
There are two seals either could be faulty, the glass seal and then the infamous sunroof cassette to roof panel, replaced by either removing the complete sunroof and then refitting it with a new bead of sealant, ‘silkaflex’ or similar, or as simple as running a thin bead externally around the edge of the black frame.

Is it possible to get an airline to the top of the drain tub?. I Had a quick look the other day. The drivers side drains well but the passenger side drains only a little bit. I didn't see the opening to the drain tube.

You will have to disconnect the pipes from underneath the the sunroof (not easy) before giving a blast of air, each pipe is attached to a small plastic box, a mini sump, to take the instant rush of water with the pipe then taking the water away which would happen if you are unfortunate to tilt the sunroof while water is laying on it, which is what the drains are designed for.
The pipe is a single length from sunroof to its exit so nothing to to blow away and the tube is plastic.
