Water in my Snorkel !!!!!

I know this may be a realy stupid question , but I have just fitted a snorkel to my 300tdi, Wll I get a build up of water in the air box due to driving in the rain , snow etc. :doh:

what snorkel which top??

IF a safari type the top is designed to divert rain water down the outside of the snorkel tuube. Thru vents in the top. Unless the rain is coming horizontally and in huge qty's the the amount been ingested will be minimal

thanks , Its a Safari copy , It looks the same but cost alot less,

You'll be fine I just fitted one of them to me 300tdi disco heap of ****e it was.

I Thought it was good gear , seems well made ..... But maybe ask me in a years time
