Water damage = Fuse 1

Hi All

My wife left the doors open during a thunder shower. Now I have a short on fuse 1 below the driver seat. Disconnected all plugs related to Fuse 1. Doesn't help. Also 1 numberplate light and light below back seat ashtray stays on.

Any advice?

The fuse box is an integral part of the BECM is it not? Could be water has got inside through the fuse box.

Ok. If you say so. Will go have a look. Is there any test I can do while the Becm is out?

Finally got around to taking the Becm out. Doesn't look like there is any water damage. Any other ideas as to fuse 1 blowing? Maybe somebody knows where I can find a diagram for the Becm?
