washer squirt power very poor

Power from windscreen washers is very low. Just about reaches the bottom of the windscreen. Tried searching but no real answers that I could find.
Are all 90 TD5's similer?
I would like to remove the tank tp clean out. Is this a fairly easy job?

I did mine on a 300tdi and it was very easy to remove and clean I think 5 bolts and a couple of hoses

Pop out the water pumps, stick a hose in the top of the bottle to get any gunk out. You can get to the window squirter via the ashtray hole on my 300tdi to blow through the pipes, or to take it out and clean it. Or just try a thin sowing pin in the holes to clean them.

There is an upgrade you can do to put two squirters in the LHD wiper holes and add a tee piece, if you are feeling adventurous.

Could be blocked up, check the jets, easy to remove as it just pulls off.

Pumps are fairly weak and they do wear out. Cheap and easy to replace.

Pull the clear pipe off the pump, blow compressed air through pipe, reconnect

Should make a huge difference as suspect jets blocked. Compressed air far easier than poking them with a needle

I run a piece of clear tubing up each wiper so the water hits the middle of the screen seems to be more effective.
