Just ordered & received a washer jet for me 72 series from Craddocks. The one they sent has only 1 jet. Is it me being fick or should there be two seperate jets on me bonnet, cause at the moment I have a twin jet in the middle of my bonnet and it seems a bit daft fitting one thats only going to ejaculate over one screen. What is correct?

Sounds like someone has retro fitted the newer type nozzle from the Defender/90/110. The double jet is as much use as a chocolate fireguard, I'm thinking about having a twin nozzle on each side so at least the wiper blades wil pass through the water instead of having a dribble down the middle of the screen...

Must be a retro fit I reckon cause the existing jets are not much cop, you have to drive into the wind hoping the spray hits either/both screens. Looks like I'll have to get another single and fit one either side. thanks fellas

i've got a retro fitted single bonnet mounted jet on one of me S3's, it not too bad, still hits both screens when your moving!!! works better than the standard ones but thats not hard......

I have only one centraly mounted jet on my 64 2a and if you payed more that £2.50 for it you were done.
Just had quick look at the old girl and there are no extra holes / blanks on me bonnet (none rolled edge).
£2.10 + vat from paddocks, bought new wipers aswell so postage was negligable for the washers....still, its paddocks:eek:

A Modification We Use around here on our CCV vehicles Uses Discovery Headlamp washers and pump, Instead of mounting it under the screen you Mount it above the screen onto the roof, Pointing down onto the glass, Although it isnt very Original it kinda "Blasts" Muck and any other ****e off of your glass ...

Ill see if i can get some photos if your interested..
