looking at converting my van backed 90 to a single cab as i simply don't use the back anymore and it would be nice to be abit warmer/ allow for a cage in the future. my van back has been county converted - alpine windows, would consider swap for a good single cab with lining :) let me know what you've got, all considered :)

Just started rebuilding a 1993 Defender 90 which I would like to convert from a truck cab to a hard top with windows. Possible swap deal? Located in North Wales so could meet up or we have a holiday cottage here if you fancy a break!

my hard top is from a 1987 the age of my vehicle and so has the ribs on the roof, slightly dented at the front frok where we've sat on the roof but coud be pushed out i expect, does not have a lining and would want re painting but yeah i would concider it, the back door is good all in rover blue the side panels are very good and the windows slide well tell me about your hard top

Truck cab is nice and straight and has a liner - all in need of a good clean. Roof panel is white and cab rear is blue. All windows are present and intact. Nice bottom tailgate also in blue. PM your e-mail if you would like some photos

you got the piccies mate ? :)

Attached to this message there should be (hopefully) some pictures.
Like i said, it all needs a good clean but under all the leaves and slime everything is solid and the paintwork is pretty good.
Let me know what you think

Looks interesting - shame its a darker blue, but never mind. Door looks a bit scabby (don't they all!) - are the rear seats likely to be part of the deal? Looking at your sticker on the back, your fondness for sheep leads me to believe you might enjoy a stay at our place! If you fancied bringing the vehicle along for a weekend, we could get in our barn and have it all changed over before you head home. Have a think and let me know if you might be interested.
