Wanted a decent 200tdi engine

hi
does anyone have a decent 200tdi engine i can put in my 1987 90? also to fit as well would be good, obviously not costing the earth if poss though?:eek:
 
ok which is the one to have, disco or defend?? on ebay there are some advertised as discovery defender tdi engine?? confused.com ;-(
 
so the disco the better option you think as cheaper more bhp etc..? also there is a pipe you can buy from steve parker i think that has been designed just for thi conversion,, you know anything of this bloke if i got name right that is ;-)

Yep - Steve Parker is very popular for the exhaust downpipe. There's also a chap on eBay that sells one that works just as well (it's the one I used).
 
Get a Disco version unless the Def comes with manifold & turbo, although it is possible to fit the disco turbo to the defender manifold, but takes some work. The defender version will possibly cost you more anorl.
