it is a wolf, but not one of the water proofed ones. it has a snorkel and everything, but no wading kit. as far as i am aware the air intake was raised for dust reasons not water ones.

Shame though, one of those landys that can drive underwater would be great fun! :crazy_driver:

A thought on silicone sealant.

Do NOT get it on bare ally - it forms acetic acid as it cures, and this can eat ally.

Rubbish. I've lost count of the amount of silicone I've used. Never had a problem. Ally would have to be pretty fooked to get eaten by a bit of silicone. However if ya worried Gorilla wipes will get any excess off if you wipe it before it starts to set.
