Anyone fitted one?

Read a few threads about who sells them/best supllier etc but cant find a thread on experience once fitted. Think search doesnt like three letters on their own.

Opinions etc anyone?

I got one fitted to my 300tdi disco its very good been playing about different boost and fueling and it does create loads of torque and power. Had the boost up to 30psi at wot for a bit and it went like stink but I was a bit scared of blowing the engine so I knocked it back to 20psi at wot and adjusted fueling to match now there is no turbo lag at all, boost comes on at about 1200 rpm and keeps boosting until rev limit, trickling along at sixty will give about 12psi of boost and about 34mpg. The engine is very smooth and quiet and no need to be up and down the gearbox all the time. I do have full width intercooler as well. Mines an Allard unit they are very helpful and gave me lots of after sales support

Cheers chap.

Think it was your thread i read first when you were looking at bell v allard.

Definitely worth spunking some of the money i was saving for cock pills/marching powder/lady boys on then?

Got a 130 and although have a full width IC and changed nozzles cant help but think i would like a bit more lower down.

Deffo Give a load more power but also a load of cash. To be honest by the time I bought the vnt and the big intercooler I'd spent more than I paid for the car but couldn't help myself needed to find out what they were like . DONT regret it but not sure I'd do it again land rovers are what they are, and they ain't never gonna be sports cars

Bad man!

Have read on a few forums about the engines only lasting relatively low miles, is that just scare mongering or the two people I read about being unlucky?

TBH I am just in the middle of fitting efi to a fifty year old vdub engine and that is taking up a lot of time and money at the mo.:(

Touch wood its in pretty good fettle at the mo, hope I haven't tempted bad luck............
