Greetings all, a quick question for you on the 1975 Land rover Series 3 109" 2.25 Petrol ex MOD 3/4 GS Truck where were the vin plates riveted?

military id plate with vin, military reg etc normally on side of seatbox, drivers side

Ok cheers, have seen some mounted on the bulkhead inside the bonnet for some reason, i thought this was wrong as i thought they were mounted there in the later production run.

Hisorry just another question although this time just for my own personal knowledge (or lack thereof) where would they be on standard 1975 Series 3.

I got a 1975 Series 3 SWB Diesel and the vin plate is on the bulkhead imediately in front of the red High/Low range selector - right next to the High/low range instruction plate (see attached photo)
