Can anyone help?

My 200Tdi auto has the most annoying vibration around 2-2.5k revs

The exhaust has been eliminated.

It sounds like the exhaust is hitting the body but it's well clear.
It manifests itself from somewhere near the NS footwell.

I have noticed recently it is showing signs of attack from the tin worm, but I can't find anything broken or rusted through.

Any ideas most appreciated

Regards
Tim

Probably not connected, but where the seat bar that you pull up to move the seat backwards and forwards is connected to the seat, the square pegs loosen off after a while, and it causes an annoying vibration that hits the spot at about the same revs (normally at gear change, or motorway driving).

I had to wrap a bungee strap around the bar and attach the hooks to each side of the seat stanchion. It stopped the vibration immediately, and is unobtrusive and effective!

SORTED

Jumped up never come down son of a bitch!!!!

NS wing where it fixes above the bumper broken. Wing rattling against the bumper end cap.

Nice and quiet again now.

Penny washers. Brilliant
