Hi has anyone came across this problem before I thought that my wheels needed balanced the car and steering starts to shake just as I get to 50 right through to 60 then it feel`s a we bit smoother, got all the wheels balanced but its still the same so changed the four wheels over for a set of standard wheels with new tyres but still the same result, so it`s back to the 22`s.
So anyone got any ideas  cheers Gerry.

very common problem lots of threads on here about it. can be caused by alot of different things dont think there is any one thing that can fix it but a case of trial of elimination.

If the car is a P38 then vibration in that speed range is often caused my fitting non standard wheels which don't actually fit although they might look like they do. There are differences in the hub sizes.

What wheels are you using and where did they come from?

If they're later Range Rover/Disco wheels then you will need spiggot rings on the hubs to centre the wheels properly.
