Vibration & wobble

can any one help me this week my disco 300tdi has started vibrating and wobbling, its coming through the steering it happens when i'm going down hill or breaking at about 50mph. Its not the steering damper or anti roll bars they been took of for year and its only started in last week.

Have you checked your wheel bearings and swivels for play? Is generally a big cause of this

wheel bearings were done 4000 miles ago so not that, could it be swivel pin then should i try taking a shim out

Ive had a wheel bearing go in less miles than that. Because something is new does not mean it cant fail on you.

normal it is the other way round but she full of cold, and she say we men moan about colds haha
