I had this vibration through the car at 3200 revs +. It was also when the car was static.
So this ruled out any transmission
Researched through here and had the dreaded misfire to head gaskets to engine mounts to blocked fuel injector to fuel starvation.
I recently did the cam, oil pump lifters , sump etc so i thought it may be that.
No play in the new water pump so took off belt to see if any play in pump bearings. Nothing so put all back together and noticed my fan blades running untrue when the vibrations started. It was the viscous coupling for the fan about to give way. Yep caught it before it exploded through the new rad and condenser plus other parts.
So if you start to get a vibration througth your car from 3000 revs check it out as it will cost a lot of dosh and heartache if it gave way.
