Hi guys, my disco 2 has vibration above 45mph through the steering wheel. So far I have rebuild the front prop (play in the double cardan), had all wheels balanced. Fitted a new osf wheel bearing ( as had a little play) and none of it has made any difference . Just after what to check next and see If any one else has had anything similar !
Cheers

Check the track rod ends and the ball joints... though if the tyres are unevenly worn balancing them on a computer which will not spin them faster than the equivalent of about 30mph might be futile

just a thought... i've had my current D2 since last may and its always had a slight wobble through 60mph. i put it down to wheel balancing as i couldnt find any other reason. last week i changed my crankshaft damper pulley as it was in the process of disintegrating, the wobble has now gone....

Thanks for the suggestions chaps, on another note I’ve just gone out and drained the transfer box to do the rear output shaft seal as that’s leaking and I’ve got 4 litres out of it, is it possible for the gearbox oil to get into the transfer box ?
